Day 1: Arrival in Paro
Meet your guide at Paro International Airport.
Visit Paro Dzong and National Museum.
Overnight in Paro.
Day 2: Trek Start – Paro → Jele Dzong (3,450m)
Trek distance: 8 km | 4–5 hrs.
Hike through blue pine forests and ascend to Jele Dzong, a small monastery with great views.
Overnight camp near Jele Dzong.
Day 3: Jele Dzong → Jangchulakha (3,780m)
Trek distance: 10 km | 4 hrs.
Scenic trail along ridges with views of Mount Jomolhari (7,314m).
Camp near yak herders’ pastures.
Day 4: Jangchulakha → Jimilangtsho Lake (3,880m)
Trek distance: 11 km | 5–6 hrs.
Cross high ridges with panoramic Himalayan views.
Camp near the sacred Jimilangtsho Lake, famous for giant trout.
Day 5: Jimilangtsho → Phajoding (3,750m)
Trek distance: 17 km | 6–7 hrs.
Pass small lakes and yak herder camps.
Camp near Phajoding Monastery, overlooking Thimphu Valley.
Day 6: Phajoding → Thimphu (2,350m)
Trek distance: 5 km | 3 hrs.
Descend through forests into Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital.
Evening free to explore the city.
Day 7: Departure from Paro
Drive back to Paro for your international flight.
